2010 Active RFID Receivers
Identify a monitored Zone.
The flexibility of the Hardware RFID platform when linked to software that defines and distributes the data to a final function is almost without limit. The day to day activities of the modern world are presenting new applications to this technology. This has defined Creating Security Solutions products for your solution.
There are 2 main levels of monitoring
(1) Stand alone door or portal monitoring - optional embedded intelligence.
Embedded intelligence allows for limited data to be gathered from a single or multiple choke points. Ideal for any access or stock control application. Engineered to provide an automatic response and control at a limited number of fixed points. Car park barrier or door, identify the car or person or stock and opens on approach, and logs into the building.
(2) Distributed information to central software / databases.
The monitored zone can be selective to choke points or doors as the stand alone method and is highly effective when linked to other databases. The example of the car plant simply monitoring the goods in bays was all that was required to provide a very powerful management tool. The scale of the operation provided a large door portal that was monitored as a holding area as well. In real terms the internal area was the stock room. It was not necessary to provide evidence which part of the assembly plant had removed the stock only that it had gone into the plant from the monitored zone. The main item to address is the quality of the information. It is a real-time monitoring and control to a fixed point. The information is free from human error at that point.
